Mandi Glad appointed CEO of Keaton Energy


Johannesburg, South Africa, 07 September 2012. Keaton Energy Holdings Limited (Keaton Energy) is
pleased to announce the appointment of Mandi Glad as Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Ms Glad is
one of the founders of Keaton Energy and has held both the business development and marketing
portfolios and, since 2011, has held the position of Executive Director: Operations of the company.


David Salter, Chairman of Keaton Energy, said “The board is pleased that Mandi has accepted the
CEO role of the company she helped establish and grow. She has experience in all aspects of the
business and we are confident she will take the company forward. With August being yet another
record production month at Vanggatfontein, we are seeing the fruits of her past planning.”


Rowan Karstel has resigned from the company for personal reasons.


To assist in the transition, Dr Salter will assume a short-term Executive Chairmanship role in the
company. Lizwi Mtumtum has been appointed Lead Independent Director for this period to comply
with good corporate governance practice.


The above-mentioned appointments and resignation are with immediate effect.
