CANCELLATION OF DECLARED DIVIDEND ANNOUNCEMENT ON EXXARO RESOURCES LIMITED HOT
ENHANCED DIVIDEND SECURITIES – (“EXXIHA”)


On 1 August 2012 Investec Bank Limited announced that a declared dividend amount per security would be
payable on Tuesday, 25 September 2012 to Holders of EXXIHA in possession of the warrant as of the record
date Friday, 21 September 2012.

Subsequently, a notice of barrier announcement was made on 6 September 2012 by Investec Bank Limited as the
issuer of EXXIHA; which advised the Holders of the breach of the stop loss level of R130.00 in the Underlying
Share, and the resultant termination of EXXIHA as of close of business on Wednesday, 5 September 2012.

Consequently, the holders of EXXIHA will not be eligible to receive an Exxaro Resources Limited dividend amount
per security on Tuesday, 25 September 2012.
