APPOINTMENT OF NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Shareholders are advised that, with effect from 30 August 2012, Mr Jerry Mabena has been
appointed as a non-executive director to the board and a member of the Nominations, and
Business Development Committees of Efficient.

Mr Mabena holds a BCom degree in Industrial Psychology and Economics from Rhodes
University and is CEO of Thebe Services Division responsible for the integration and growth
of Thebe Investment Corporation’s investment in the Tourism, Financial Services and Energy
Services industries. Jerry has experience in advertising, marketing and business management.

The directors welcome Jerry to the board of Efficient.
