NO CHANGE STATEMENT AND NOTICE OF ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING
Shareholders are advised that the Annual Report for the year ended 29 February 2012, was dispatched to
shareholders on Friday, 31 August 2012 and contains no modifications to the Provisional Audited
Condensed Consolidated Results for the year ended 29 February 2012 published on SENS on 1 June 2012.
Notice is hereby given that the 11th Annual General Meeting (“Annual General Meeting”) of shareholders of
Platfields will be held at 10:00 on Friday, 7 December 2012 at PKF, 42 Wierda Road West, Wierda Valley,
Sandton, for the purpose of considering, and, if deemed fit, passing, with or without modification, the
resolutions set out hereafter.
The board of directors of the Company (“the Board”) has determined that, in terms of section 62(3)(a), as
read with section 59 of the Companies Act, 2008 (Act 71 of 2008), the record date for the purposes of
determining which shareholders of the Company are entitled to participate in and vote at the Annual General
Meeting is Friday, 30 November 2012. Accordingly, the last day to trade Platfields shares in order to be
recorded in the Register to be entitled to vote will be Friday, 23 November 2012.
