DIVIDEND DISTRIBUTION ANNOUNCEMENT IN RELATION TO THE SAB SHARE INSTALMENT

Notice is hereby given of the dividend amount payable for SABMILLER PLC and that as a result of the
dividend declaration relating to SABMILLER PLC (SAB) the Trustees of the Share Instalment Trust
have declared a dividend amount of 589.2178 cents per SABNII share instalment that is payable on
Friday, 17 August 2012. The dividend is subject to a local tax of 15 percent. No STC credits were
utilized. This results in a net dividend of 500.83513 per share instalment. The payment will be
rounded to two decimal places.

The last day to trade cum-dividend is Thursday, 02 August 2012. The Share Instalment will
commence trading ex-dividend from Friday, 03 August 2012. The record date will be Friday, 10
August 2012.
