DISTRIBUTION FINALISATION ANNOUNCEMENT FOR THE SIX MONTHS ENDED 30 JUNE 2012 - UPDATE

Further to the announcement released on SENS on 19 July 2012, holders of dbx Euro 50 securities are advised that the distribution payable on or about Tuesday, 31 July 2012 will be a minimum of ZAR 0.54335 per dbx Euro 50 security.  This is based on the ZAR/EUR exchange rate prevailing on Wednesday, 25 July 2012 of 10.2150.

The ZAR distribution amount of ZAR 0.54335 per dbx Euro 50 security is calculated as follows:

Gross foreign dividends of ZAR 0.84230 (eight four point two three zero cents);
Less:  Withholding tax of ZAR 0.20626 (two zero point six two six cents);
Plus:  Interest and equalisation of ZAR 0.04514  (four point five one four cents);
Less:  Management fee of ZAR 0.13783 (one three point seven eight three cents).

This amount will be adjusted upwards for larger investors who are liable for less than the 1% management fee (on the basis set out in the Second Supplement to the Offering Circular and Pre-Listing Statement on 19 September 2005).

The aggregate amount payable to each investor will be rounded down to the nearest cent.  The balance (if any) will be retained and paid out in the following distribution period.
