TRADING STATEMENT FOR THE SIX MONTHS ENDED 30 JUNE 2012

In compliance with paragraph 3.4(b) of the Listing Requirements of JSE Limited, companies are required to publish a trading statement as soon as
they are satisfied that a reasonable degree of certainty exists that the financial results for the period to be reported upon next will differ by at least
20% from the financial results of the previous corresponding period.

Accordingly, shareholders are advised that for the six months ended 30 June 2012,

- headline earnings per share is expected to be between 85% and 90% higher than the headline earnings per share of 13.72 cents for the six months
  ended 30 June 2011;

- earnings per share is expected to be between 104% and 109% higher than the earnings per share of 14.67 cents for the six months ended 30 June
  2011.

The financial information upon which this trading statement is based has not been audited or reviewed by MICROmega’s auditors.
