Distribution announcement



Holders of BettaBeta EWT40 securities ('securities holders') are referred to the announcement dated
15 June 2012 setting out details of a possible quarterly distribution by BettaBeta EWT40 to securities
holders.

Further to the abovementioned announcement, the manager Nedgroup Beta Solutions (Proprietary)
Limited) and the trustee (FirstRand Bank Limited) of BettaBeta EWT40 have now resolved to make a
quarterly distribution to securities holders for the quarter ended 30 June 2012 ('the distribution') in an
amount of 63.02971 cents (gross) per BettaBeta EWT40 security. The distribution will be constituted
entirely as a cash dividend out of income reserves.

The distribution will be made to all securities holders recorded in the register on Friday, 6 July 2012
and will be paid on Monday, 23 July 2012.

In terms of the Listings Requirements of the JSE Limited regarding the new Dividends Tax effective 1
April 2012, the following additional information is provided:
1.    Local dividend tax rate is 15%;
2.    No STC credits have been utilised;

3.    The net local dividend amount is 53.57525 cents per BettaBeta EWT40 security for security
      holders liable to pay the new Dividends Tax and 63.02971 cents per BettaBeta EWT40 security
      for security holders exempt from paying the new Dividends Tax; and
4.    BettaBeta EWT40 tax reference number is 0153098249 and the ETF has 1 385 509
      participatory interests in issue as at the date of this announcement.
