DIVIDEND ANNOUNCEMENT IN RELATION TO THE INP SHARE INSTALMENT


Notice is hereby given that as a result of the dividend declaration relating to
INVESTEC PLC (INP) shares, the holders of INPSTG share instalments will receive
an INVESTEC PLC (INP) dividend of 20 cents per Instalment.


Please note a 15% dividend withholding tax (DWT) will be applicable to non-
exempt warrant holders resulting in a net payment of 17 SA cents per Instalment.


Last date to trade cum dividend Friday, 20/07/2012
Ex-dividend Date Monday, 23/07/2012
Record Date Friday, 27/07/2012
Payment Date Monday, 06/08/2012
