Trading statement

In terms of the JSE Limited Listings Requirements, companies are required to publish a trading statement as soon as they are reasonably certain that the financial results for the current reporting period will be more than 20% different than that of the prior comparative period.
Shareholders are advised that in light of the above, due to the impact of the once-off effects of the repurchase of shares from the Cashbuild Empowerment Trust (Trust) and subsequent distribution to Trust beneficiaries, concluded in the prior financial year, Cashbuild expects earnings per share and headline earnings per share for the year ended 30 June 2012 to be more than 20% higher than those of the prior comparative year.
Once the Company has reasonable certainty on the actual range of the increase, a further trading statement will be released on SENS.
Shareholders are advised that the above information has not been reviewed or reported on by the Companya''s auditors and that the Companya''s results for the year ended 30 June 2012 are expected to be published on or about 19 September 2012. 4 July 2012 Johannesburg Investment bank and sponsor Nedbank Capital
