CLS - Clicks Group Limited - Resignation of executive director Clicks Group Limited (Incorporated in the Republic of South Africa) Registration number 1996/000645/06 JSE share code: CLS ISIN: ZAE000134854 ("Clicks Group" or "the group") RESIGNATION OF EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR Clicks Group advises that Michael Harvey, an executive director of the group and managing director of Clicks, has resigned. Michael has been with the group for over 23 years and was appointed as an executive director in April 2006. His resignation is with immediate effect. David Kneale, Chief Executive Officer, commented: "Mike has made a significant contribution to the group, particularly in the past seven years as managing director of Clicks. He led the chain`s successful entry into retail pharmacy, entrenching Clicks as the country`s leading health and beauty retailer. "Mike and I agreed that the time is right for a change as the business moves forward to its next growth phase. We wish him every success in the future." Until such time as a new managing director is appointed, David Kneale will take over the leadership of the Clicks chain and the Clicks operating board will report directly to him. The recruitment process will target both local and international retail executives and will enable the group to further strengthen its succession pipeline.
