Shareholders are advised that the Annual Financial Statements for the year      
ended 31 December 2011 will be posted on 9 June 2012, and contain no            
modifications to the reviewed condensed financial results for the year ended    
31 December 2011, released on SENS on 29 March 2012. A copy of the Annual       
Financial Statements for the year ended 31 December 2011 is available on the    
company`s website: www.interwaste.co.za, from 6 June 2012.                      
NOTICE OF THE ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING                                            
Notice is hereby given that the Annual General Meeting of shareholders will     
be held at 11:00 on Friday, 29 June 2012 at 2 Brammer Road, Germiston South,    
Gauteng, South Africa, to transact the business as stated in the notice of      
Annual General Meeting forming part of the Annual Report.                       
The following salient dates apply to the Annual General Meeting:                
Last day to trade to be eligible to vote at  Friday, 15 June 2012               
the Annual General Meeting.                                                     
Record date for determining those            Friday, 22 June 2012               
shareholders entitled to vote at the Annual                                     
General Meeting.                                                                
Last day for receipt of forms of proxy for   Wednesday, 27 June 2012            
the Annual General Meeting (or they may be                                      
handed to the Chairman at the meeting).
