WEA - W G Wearne Limited - Trading Statement W G WEARNE LIMITED (Incorporated in the Republic of South Africa) (Registration number: 1994/005983/06) (Share Code: WEA ISIN Code: ZAE000078002) ("Wearne" or "the Company") TRADING STATEMENT In terms of paragraph 3.4 (b) of the JSE Limited ("JSE") Listings Requirements, companies are required to publish a trading statement as soon as they become reasonably certain that the financial results for the period to be reported on will differ by more than 20% from the previous corresponding period. Wearne is currently finalising its annual results for the year ended 29 February 2012 and shareholders are advised that the directors expect a headline loss per share and loss per share of between 21.5 cents and 24 cents and 22 and 24.5 cents per share respectively compared to a headline loss per share of 21.12 cents and a loss per share of 60.28 cents for the year ended 28 February 2011. The financial information on which this trading statement is based has not been reviewed by Wearne`s auditors.
