TRADING UPDATE                                                                  
In terms of the Listings Requirements of JSE Limited, companies are required    
to publish a trading statement as soon as they become reasonably certain        
that the financial results for the period to be reported on will differ by      
more than 20% from the previous corresponding period. Zaptronix is currently    
finalising its interim results for the six months ended 29 February 2012 on     
the restated basis of the 2010 and 2011 Annual Financial Statements. Diluted    
earnings per share are expected to be a loss of between -0.29 cent and -0.39    
cent per share compared to 0.1 cent per share of the previous corresponding     
period.                                                                         
The results have not been reviewed by the auditors. The Company`s financial     
results are expected to be released before the end of May 2012.
