CAUTIONARY ANNOUNCEMENT                                                         
Shareholders are advised that Tiger Brands is in discussion with Dangote        
Industries Limited in respect of its shareholding in Dangote Flour Mills Plc    
("DFM").  DFM is a leading company in the Nigerian flour and pasta markets.     
Any developments will be reported to shareholders in due course.  Shareholders  
are advised to exercise caution in dealing in Tiger Brands shares until a       
further announcement is released.
