FBR - Famous Brands Limited - Voluntary trading statement in respect of the year ended 29 February 2012 FAMOUS BRANDS LIMITED (Incorporated in the Republic of South Africa) (Registration number 1969/004875/06) Share code: FBR ISIN code: ZAE000053328 ("Famous Brands" or "the Group") VOLUNTARY TRADING STATEMENT IN RESPECT OF THE YEAR ENDED 29 FEBRUARY 2012 Famous Brands is in the process of finalising its results for the year ended 29 February 2012. Accordingly, shareholders are advised that the Group expects to report headline earnings per share (HEPS) and earnings per share (EPS) (calculated on an IFRS basis) of between 276 cents per share and 281 cents per share. This is an improvement on the prior year comparable headline and earnings per share of between 14% and 16%. On a diluted basis, the Group expects to report diluted HEPS and diluted EPS of between 270 cents per share and 275 cents per share, also an improvement of between 14% and 16%. REVIEW OF RESULTS The information on which this announcement is based has not been reviewed or reported on by the Group`s auditors. PUBLICATION OF RESULTS The Group`s results for the year ended 29 February 2012 are expected to be published on the Securities Exchange News Service on Monday, 21 May 2012.
