MVS - Mvelaserve Limited - Voluntary Announcement MVELASERVE LIMITED ("Mvelaserve") (Incorporated in the Republic of South Africa) (Registration number: 1999/003610/06) Ordinary share code: MVS Ordinary share ISIN: ZAE000151353 VOLUNTARY ANNOUNCEMENT It was brought to our attention that the following was contained in the annual financial statements for the year ended 30 June 2011. Note 25 to the financial statements made reference to Normalised earnings per share of 131,4 cents (2010: 112,4 cents) which was calculated by adjusting the Headline profit attributable to owners of the parent by exceptional items. In calculating these values net exceptional income to the value of R47 million had been adjusted relating to continued operations, but no adjustment was made for income, including exceptional income, from discontinued operations of R45 million. Had the income from discontinued operations been eliminated, the normalised earnings per share would have been 99,4 cents. Normalised earnings per share are not an International Financial Reporting Standards measurement and were included in the financial statements as additional disclosure to shareholders. The above does not have an effect on the disclosed earnings per share of 87,8 cents (2010: 112,7 cents) or headline earnings per ordinary share of 159,8 cents (2010: 112,4 cents). 03 April 2012 Sponsor: Investec Bank Limited Date: 03/04/2012 17:33:11 Supplied by www.sharenet.co.za Produced by the JSE SENS Department.
