GGM - Goliath Gold Mining Limited - Trading Statement GOLIATH GOLD MINING LIMITED (Formerly White Water Resources Limited) Incorporated in the Republic of South Africa (Registration number 1933/004523/06) Share code: GGM ISIN: ZAE000154753 ("Goliath Gold" or "the Company") TRADING STATEMENT The annual report released on 24 June 2011 reported that the ordinary share capital of Goliath Gold was consolidated on 13 May 2011 in the ratio of one new Goliath Gold ordinary share for every ten Goliath Gold ordinary shares held. Due to the change in the Company`s year end from March to December, the financial results for the 31 December 2011 year end are for a nine month period. A review of the financial results for the nine month period ended 31 December 2011 by the board of directors has indicated that the post consolidation earnings per share is expected to be between 2.0 cents and 3.0 cents and headline earnings per share is expected to be between 0.5 cents and 1.5 cents, compared to the loss per share and headline loss per share pre-consolidation of 1.6 cents (15.8 cents post consolidation) for the 12 month financial year ended 31 March 2011. Accordingly, in terms of the Listings Requirements of JSE Limited, companies are required to publish a trading statement as soon as they become reasonably certain that the financial results for the period to be reported on will differ by more than 20% from that of the previous corresponding period. The financial information on which this trading statement is based has not been reviewed or reported on by the Company`s auditors. Goliath Gold`s financial results for the year ended 31 December 2011 are expected to be released on SENS on or about 30 March 2012.
