MDC - Mediclinic International Limited - Disclosure of changes in beneficial interest Mediclinic International Limited (Incorporated in the Republic of South Africa) (Registration number: 1983/010725/06) ISIN: ZAE000074142 Share Code: MDC ("Mediclinic" or "the company") DISCLOSURE OF CHANGES IN BENEFICIAL INTEREST In accordance with the JSE Limited Listings Requirements and section 122(1) of the Companies Act, 71 of 2008, as amended, shareholders are advised of the following: Coronation Asset Management (Pty) Ltd notified the company on 9 March 2012 that accounts under its management have increased its holding of Mediclinic ordinary shares from 4.47% to 8.45%. In addition, The International Hospitals Network Partnership ("IHN"), an associate of Trilantic Capital Partners, also informed the company on 9 March 2012 that it disposed of 26.0 million Mediclinic ordinary shares representing 39.86% of its shareholding in Mediclinic, reducing its interest from 10.00% to 6.01% in the company. Sanjay Nandi, a principal of Trilantic Capital Partners, commented on the transaction: "IHN retains a significant interest in the business of Mediclinic and therefore exposure to a sector and company that we like."
