MMG - Micromega Holdings Limited - Trading statement for the year ended 31 December 2011 MICROmega HOLDINGS LIMITED (Registration number 1998/003821/06) (Incorporated in the Republic of South Africa) Share code: MMG ISIN code:ZAE000034435 ("MICROmega" or "the company") TRADING STATEMENT FOR THE YEAR ENDED 31 DECEMBER 2011 In compliance with paragraph 3.4(b) of the Listing Requirements of JSE Limited, companies are required to publish a trading statement as soon as they are satisfied that a reasonable degree of certainty exists that the financial results for the period to be reported upon next will differ by at least 20% from the financial results of the previous corresponding period. Accordingly, shareholders are advised that for the year ended 31 December 2011, - headline earnings per share is expected to be 27% higher than the headline earnings per share of 16.46 cents for the year ended 31 December 2010; - earnings per share is expected to be 32% higher than the earnings per share of 5.86 cents for the year ended 31 December 2010. The results reflect the impact of the costs of the restructuring of MICROmega which entailed the disposal and closure of non-profit contributing businesses and a refocus of the company`s investment into information technology and its traditional support service operations. The financial information upon which this trading statement is based has not been audited or reviewed by MICROmega`s auditors.
