Introduction and background Shareholders are referred to the announcement, setting out the share repurchase programme, released on SENS on 6 January 2011 advising that Nedbank Group had exercised call options granted to it by the Nedbank Eyethu Non-executive Directors Trust (`Non-executive Directors Trust`) to repurchase Nedbank Group ordinary shares (`the specific repurchase`). 2. Re-statement of allocation of shares repurchased Pursuant to a change in the basis of the calculation of the allocation of the specific repurchase to account for the notional funding cost and the allocation of operating expenses of the Non-executive Directors Trust, a net adjustment of 4 604 shares which were held for the benefit of the current non-executive directors and repurchased from the Non-executive Directors Trust on 6 January 2011 is disclosed.
