Shareholders are advised that basic and headline earnings per share for the six months ended 31 December 2011 are expected to be between 100% and 110% higher than the 156 and 157 cents per share of the previous corresponding period, respectively. Adjusted headline earnings per share, which management considers the most meaningful measure of performance for the company, is expected to be between 30% and 40% higher than the 215 cents per share of the previous corresponding period. Excluding foreign exchange gains and losses, adjusted headline earnings per share is expected to be between 5% and 10% higher.
