BVT - The Bidvest Group Limited - Trading statement THE BIDVEST GROUP LIMITED ("Bidvest") (Registration number 1946/021180/06) Share code: BVT ISIN ZAE000117321 TRADING STATEMENT In compliance with Rule 3.4(b) of the JSE Listing Requirements, companies are required to publish a trading statement as soon as they become reasonably certain that the financial results of the period to be reported on will be more than 20% different from that of the previous corresponding period. Shareholders are advised that for the 6 months ended December 31 2011 the group`s headline earnings per share are expected to be between 35% and 40% higher than the results of the comparative period (December 31 2010: 539.8 cents per share) after accounting for the profit on the partial sale of the investment in Mumbai International Airport Private Limited, as announced on Sens on October 19 2011. Earnings per share are also expected to be between 29% and 33% higher than the comparative period (December 31 2010: 541.7 cents per share) after accounting for the profit on the partial sale of the investment in Mumbai International Airport Private Limited and a R96.7 million impairment of the associate investment in Comair Limited as a consequence of the decline in its share price.
