AFX - African Oxygen Limited - Trading update AFRICAN OXYGEN LIMITED (Incorporated in the Republic of South Africa) (Registration number 1927/000089/06) JSE code: AFX NSX code: AOX ISIN: ZAE000067120 ("Afrox" or "the company" or "the group") TRADING UPDATE Afrox shareholders ("shareholders") are referred to the trading update announcement published on 15 December 2011 wherein they were advised that the group`s basic earnings per share and headline earnings per share for the financial year ending 31 December 2011 were expected to be at least 20% higher than those of the comparable twelve month period of the prior year ("comparable period"). In accordance with the JSE Limited Listings Requirements and further to the above, in respect of the twelve months ended 31 December 2011, the group hereby advises shareholders that: - basic earnings per share are expected to be between 80% and 100% higher than those of the comparable period; and - headline earnings per share are expected to be between 50% and 70% higher than those of the comparable period. Shareholders are advised that the forecast financial information contained in this trading update has neither been reviewed nor reported on by the company`s external auditors. Afrox`s results for the financial year ended 31 December 2011 are expected to be published on or about 23 February 2012.
