UPDATED TRADING STATEMENT                                                       
In terms of the JSE Listings Requirements, listed companies are required to     
publish a trading statement as soon as the board is satisfied that a            
reasonable degree of certainty ("reasonably certain") exists that the           
financial results for the next period to be reported on will vary by more       
than 20% from those of the previous corresponding period or from a profit       
forecast previously provided to the market in relation to such period. An       
updated trading statement is required when new information indicates that       
forecast results are likely to be outside a previously disclosed range in a     
previously announced trading statement.                                         
Accordingly, further to the trading statement announced on SENS on 12           
October 2011 forecasting an expected improvement in both the loss per share     
and headline loss per share for the 15 months ended 30 September 2011 of a      
minimum of 40% compared to the prior year ended 30 June 2010, additional        
information as well as clarity on the valuation of certain of the Company`s     
assets has been obtained that indicates, within a reasonable degree of          
certainty of knowledge by the board, that the respective loss per share and     
headline loss per share for the 15 months ended 30 September 2011 are now       
both expected to be between 90% and 110% better compared to the previously      
published results for the 12 month financial year ended 30 June 2010.           
The above information has not been reviewed or reported on by the Company`s     
auditors.
