TRANS HEX GROUP LIMITED (Incorporated in the Republic of South Africa) Registration number 1963/007579/06 ISIN: ZAE000018552 Share code: TSX ("Trans Hex" or "the Group") MARKET UPDATE Trans Hex is pleased to provide an update in respect of its latest diamond sales. The Group`s October 2011 to December 2011 tender sales of South African production amounted to R180.6 million (20 270.74 carats at an average price of US$1 116 per carat and average exchange rate of R7.98 / US$). Ten single stones were sold for an average price in excess of US$10 000 per carat. Somiluana Mine in Angola, in which Trans Hex holds a 33% stake, realised a total of US$4.17 million for its October 2011 and November 2011 sales (8 538 carats at an average price of US$488 per carat). The next sale of South African production will be held in February 2012. Somiluana conducts monthly sales.
