METROWIND SELECTED AS A PREFFERED RENEWABLE IPP BIDDER                          
The MetroWind Van Stadens Wind Farm ("MetroWind") is among 28 projects that have
been selected as renewable energy preferred independent power producers         
("IPP`s") by the South African Department of Energy ("Department of Energy").   
Basil Read has a 35% interest in MetroWind, and also has an Engineering,        
Procurement and Construction contract valued at ZAR450 million to construct the 
MetroWind project.                                                              
MetroWind has been allocated the following capacity:                            
26.19 MegaWatt ("MW") out of a total capacity of 633.99 MW, in respect of       
onshore wind projects, and                                                      
Metrowind had submitted its bid alongside with 52 other IPPs in response to a   
request for proposals first published by the Department of Energy on 3 August   
2011. This bid window closed on 4 November 2011, and Metrowind, together with   
JSE Limited (`JSE`). The JSE does not, whether expressly, tacitly or
