Ethos is an associate of Messrs A Roux and AC de Beer, who are directors of Alexander Forbes Equity Holdings (Proprietary) Limited ("Alexander Forbes Equity Holdings"). Ethos is an equity holder in Alexander Forbes Equity Holdings and this acquisition is aligned with its strategy of long-term investments into medium to large businesses in South Africa and sub-Saharan Africa. The aforementioned directors have an indirect and non-beneficial interest in the transaction. Ethos acquired 3.25 million linked units on 07 December 2011 at R8.00 per linked unit in an off-market trade. Subsequently, Ethos acquired an additional 8 million linked units on 08 December 2011 at R9.20 per linked unit in another off-market trade.
