PPC - Pretria Portland Cement Company Limited - Trading statement PRETORIA PORTLAND CEMENT COMPANY LIMITED (Incorporated in the Republic of South Africa) (Company registration number: 1892/000667/06) JSE Code: PPC ISIN: ZAE000125886 ("PPC" or the "Company") TRADING STATEMENT In terms of the Listing Requirements of the JSE Limited, companies are required to publish a Trading Statement as soon as they become reasonably certain that the financial results for the period to be reported on next will differ by more than 20% from those of the previous corresponding period. In the trading statement released on SENS on 20 September 2011, PPC previously advised that earnings per share and headline earnings per share for the year ending 30 September 2011 were expected to be between 25% and 30% lower than the previous corresponding period. Following better than expected trading conditions during September 2011, PPC now advises that earnings per share and headline earnings per share for the year ending 30 September 2011 are expected to be between 21% and 24% lower than the previous corresponding period. The financial information on which this trading statement is based are the draft annual financial statements which have not yet been approved by the board. PPC will release its annual results for the twelve months ending 30 September 2011 on 8 November 2011.
