available on the Group`s website on 3 November 2011. These statements           
contain no modifications to the audited results which were published on         
SENS on 13 September 2011.                                                      
Notice of the annual general meeting                                            
Notice is hereby given that the 15th annual general meeting of FirstRand        
Limited shareholders will be held at the Auditorium, WesBank Offices,           
Enterprise Road, Fairland on Thursday, 1 December 2011 at 09h00 to              
transact the business as stated in the annual general meeting notice            
forming part of the annual financial statements.
