NO CHANGE ANNOUNCEMENT AND NOTICE OF ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING                     
Shareholders are advised that the annual financial statements for the           
year ended 30 June 2011 will be posted to shareholders on 31 October            
2011, and contain no modifications to the reviewed preliminary                  
consolidated results published on SENS on 8 September 2011.  The annual         
financial statements will also be available online on the Spur website          
(www.spur.co.za) from 9am on 31 October 2011. The annual financial              
statements were audited by Spur`s auditors, KPMG Inc. Their unqualified         
audit report is available for inspection at the company`s registered            
office, 1 Waterford Mews, Century Boulevard, Century City,                      
Cape Town.                                                                      
Notice is hereby given that the annual general meeting of shareholders          
will take place at 11h00 on Friday, 2 December 2011 at the head office          
of the company, 14 Edison Way, Century Gate Business Park, Century              
City, Cape Town, to transact business as stated in the notice of the            
annual general meeting forming part of the annual financial statements.
