Chemspec wishes to advise shareholders that the company expects an improvement in the company`s loss and headline loss per share for the six months ended 30 September 2011 ("the interim period") of between 70% and 80% compared to the loss and headline loss per share of 14,04 cents reported for the six months ended 30 September 2010. The unaudited results of Chemspec for the six months ended 30 September 2011 will be released on SENS on or about 31 October 2011. The financial information on which this trading statement is based has not been reviewed or reported on by the company`s auditors.
