HWN- Howden Africa Holdings Limited- Appointment of Chief Financial Officer Howden Africa Holdings Limited (Incorporated in the Republic of South Africa) (Registration number 1996/002982/06) Share code: HWN ISIN: ZAE000010583 ("Howden" or "the Company" or "the Group") Appointment of Chief Financial Officer In compliance with paragraph 3.59 of the JSE Limited Listing Requirements shareholders are advised that Mr Kevin Johnson will be appointed as the Chief Financial Officer and will take over from Interim Group Financial Director, Terence Rensen, with effect from 1 March 2012. There will be a four month handover period, which includes the 2011 financial year end. Kevin is a qualified CPA (Australia), with a Masters in Accounting (MAcc) from Macquarie University, Australia and a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from Hasselt University, Belgium. Kevin has been part of the Howden Group in Australia and the UK since January 2001. Kevin is a high calibre business process engineer with a proven record of developing and implementing Howden Group financial and operational processes globally, and has expertise in change management, and financial management and reporting.
