MML - Metmar Limited - Trading Statement Metmar Limited Incorporated in the Republic of South Africa Registration number: 1998/007269/06 Share code: MML ISIN code: ZAE000078747 ("the Company") TRADING STATEMENT In terms of the JSE Limited Listings Requirements, companies are required to publish a trading statement as soon as they are satisfied with a reasonable degree of certainty that the financial results of the period to be reported upon will differ by 20% or more from the financial results of the previous corresponding period. Shareholders are advised that the Company`s attributable earnings and headline earnings per share for the period ended 31 August 2011 are expected to decrease by between 27% and 31% over those of the previous corresponding period. While revenue and gross profit margins increased, the high cost of trading together with the payment of Secondary Tax on Companies (STC) for the first time, adversely affected earnings. Headline earnings per share were further adversely affected by an increased weighted average number of shares following a share issue on 30 November 2010. The financial information on which this trading statement is based has not been reported on by the Company`s auditors. Shareholders are advised that the results for the period ended 31 August 2011 will be released before the end of October 2011. 24 October 2011 Bryanston Sponsor One Capital Date: 24/10/2011 16:34:18 Supplied by www.sharenet.co.za Produced by the JSE SENS Department.
