CHANGE IN DIRECTORATE                                                           
In terms of paragraph 3.59 of the Listings Requirements of the JSE Limited,     
Avusa advises that Adv Dumisa Ntsebeza resigned as an independent non-executive 
Chairman of the board and a director of the company on 19 September 2011.  Mr   
Tom Wixley and Ms Babalwa Ngonyama also resigned as independent non-executive   
directors of the company on 19 September 2011.                                  
RESULTS OF ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING                                               
Shareholders are advised that, at the annual general meeting of Avusa held      
today, ordinary resolution numbers 2.1, 2.3 and 2.7 relating to the re-election 
of Adv Ntsebeza, Mr Wixley and Ms Ngonyama as independent non-executive         
directors of the company as well as ordinary resolutions number 5.1 and 5.4     
relating to the re-appointment of Mr Wixley and Ms Ngonyama to the Audit and    
Risk Committee were also withdrawn prior to the commencement of the annual      
general meeting.                                                                
All other resolutions were passed by the requisite majority of shareholders     
present and represented by proxy at the annual general meeting.
