WTL - William Tell Holdings Limited - Trading Statement WILLIAM TELL HOLDINGS LIMITED (Incorporated in the Republic of South Africa) (Registration Number: 2004/030045/06) JSE Code: WTL ISIN: ZAE000098133 ("the Company") TRADING STATEMENT In accordance with paragraph 3.4(b) of the Listings Requirements of the JSE Limited, companies are required to inform shareholders as soon as there is a reasonable degree of certainty that the earnings of the company are likely to vary by more than 20% compared to the previous corresponding period. We refer to the previous announcement made on the 27th of May 2011, stating that an updated trading statement will be provided once the Company has obtained more certainty relating to expected results. The Board of Directors therefore wishes to advise shareholders that the Company expects to report a basic loss per share and headline loss per share attributable to ordinary shareholders for the 12 months ended 30 June 2011 of between 6.0 cents and 7.4 cents compared to basic loss per share of 16.6 cents and headline loss per share of 2.5 cents for the previous corresponding period. Shareholders are advised that the expected loss is as a result of continued adverse trading conditions and the following non recurring items: 1. Settlement fees negotiated in lieu of 2 directors fixed term contracts to the value of R1.8 million and 2. Increased bad debt and stock provisions to the value of R4.9 million The financial information in this trading statement has neither been reviewed nor reported on by the Company`s external auditors.
