DECLARATION OF A DIVIDEND OF 340.27 CENTS PER NON-REDEEMABLE, NON-CUMULATIVE,   
NON-PARTICIPATING PREFERENCE SHARE ("PREFERENCE SHARE DIVIDEND") - NUMBER 10    
The directors of Capitec have declared a preference share dividend of 340.27    
cents per share in respect of the six months ended 31 August 2011. Payment will 
be effected on Monday, 26 September 2011.  This is the earliest payment date    
possible in terms of the Listings Requirements of the JSE Limited.              
The salient dates for the payment of the preference share dividend are set out
