IWE - Interwaste Holdings Limited - Trading Update Interwaste Holdings Limited (Incorporated in the Republic of South Africa) (Registration number: 2006/037223/06) JSE code: IWE ISIN:ZAE000097903 ("Interwaste" or "the company" or "the group") TRADING UPDATE Shareholders are advised that Interwaste is finalising its results for the six months ended 30 June 2011 and anticipates that the group will reflect basic earnings per share of between 0.24 and 0.30 cents, and headline earnings per share of between 0.32 and 0.40 cents, for the period. Shareholders are referred to the 2010 annual report which provided details of the prior year adjustment that restated the results for the year ended 31 December 2009. The report also detailed certain impairments applicable to the results for the year ended 31 December 2010. A portion of those impairments related to the period 1 January 2010 to 30 June 2010 and consequently, the comparative figures (to 30 June 2010) in the impending report on the results for the six months ended 30 June 2011, have been restated. The revised comparative results reflect a basic loss of 1.42 cents (previously a profit of 2.39 cents) per share, and a headline loss of 1.60 cents (previously a profit of 1.86 cents) per share. The financial information contained in this trading update has not been reviewed and/or reported on by the company`s auditors. The company`s unaudited results for the period ended 30 June 2011 will be released on SENS before 30 September 2011.
