The board wishes to thank Mr Williams for his contributions during his tenure as independent non-executive director of the company and extends its best wishes to him in his future endeavors. In compliance with rule 3.59(a) of the Listings Requirements of the JSE Limited, shareholders of GPI are hereby further advised that the Board has appointed Mr Richard Hoption as executive director of the Company. His appointment takes effect from today. Richard has been an employee of the company since its listing and has served as the company`s finance director and company secretary. The company stands to benefit significantly from this experience as well as from his financial expertise.
