During his 23 years spent with the Altron group, David was primarily instrumental in building the Altron group`s information technology capacity to what it is today and what was the second largest IT concern in SA by market capitalisation, just prior to Bytes delisting in 2008. David`s wise counsel, astute leadership, warm friendship and positive contribution to the affairs of the Altron group will be sorely missed and the Altron group extends its deepest sympathy and heartfelt condolences to his wife Marjorie and to his children Philip and Jacqui.
