PGR - Peregrine - Appointment of New Directors Peregrine Holdings Limited (Registration number 1994/006026/06) ("Peregrine" or "the company") JSE code: PGR ISIN code: ZAE000078127 APPOINTMENT OF NEW DIRECTORS The board of Peregrine Holdings Limited is pleased to announce the appointment of Ms. Veronica Nomfanelo Magwentshu ("Nomfanelo") (40), as an independent, non- executive director and a member of the audit committee, and Ms. Lungile Myrtle Ndlovu ("Lungi") (53) as an independent, non-executive director, both with effect from 1 July 2011. Nomfanelo has experience in strategic development and operational management. Her most recent assignment was as Chief Operating Officer of the 2010 FIFA World CupTrade Mark Organising Committee. Prior to her role at the Organising Committee, Nomfanelo was Chief Restructuring Executive at South African Airways (SAA). She is currently chairperson of the South African Forestry Company Limited (Safcol), an independent, non-executive director of Nampak Limited and a non- executive director of the Eastern Cape Development Corporation (ECDC). Nomfanelo obtained a B.Sc (Mathamatics and Statistics) from the University of Transkei, an B.SC Honours in Statistics from the University of Natal and an MBA from GIBS. Lungi recently retired as Chief HR Officer from the Vodacom Group after 11 years of service. At Vodacom, Lungi held board positions and was a member of the respective remuneration committees of Vodacom Mozambique, Vodacom DRC, and Gateway. Lungi was a member of the Senior Leadership team as well as the HR Leadership team of Vodafone, the parent company of Vodacom. Prior to joining Vodacom, she served as Group General Manager: HR for Primedia and Group HR manager for Otis Elevators South Africa.
