No. 1986/002864/06) (Incorporated in the Republic of South Africa) Share Code: CLH ISIN Code: ZAE000117792 TRADING STATEMENT Trading statement: In terms of rule 3.4(b) of the JSE Listings Requirements, a listed company is required to publish a trading statement as soon as a reasonable degree of certainty exists that the financial results for the next reporting period to be reported on will differ by at least 20% from those of the previous corresponding period. In this regard diluted / undiluted headline and basic earnings per share for the year ended 30 June 2011, which include the costs and effects of the BEE deal, are anticipated to be more than 20% lower than the previous financial year. Normalised headline earnings per share, which excludes the costs and effects of the BEE deal, are anticipated to be between 30% and 36% lower than the previous financial year. The information on which this trading statement has been based has not been reviewed or reported on by the group`s auditors and it is anticipated that the reviewed results will be released on SENS on or about 12 August 2011.
