ACL - ArcelorMittal South Africa Limited - Changes to the board of directors ArcelorMittal South Africa Limited (Incorporated in the Republic of South Africa) (Registration number: 1989/002164/06) Share code: ACL ISIN: ZAE000134961 ("ArcelorMittal South Africa" or "the company") CHANGES TO THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS In compliance with paragraph 3.59 of the Listings Requirements of the JSE Limited, shareholders are advised that Mr Arnaud Poupart-Lafarge has resigned as non-executive director from the board of directors ("the board") with effect from Wednesday 25 May 2011 due to his appointment as Executive Vice President - Long Carbon Europe. The board congratulates Arnaud on his appointment and further thanks him for his valuable contribution to the company over the years. The board has pleasure in informing shareholders that Mr Gonzalo Urquijo will be appointed as non-executive director to the board with immediate effect. Mr Urquijo was previously responsible for Long Carbon and has now taken up responsibility for AACIS (Asia, Africa, Commonwealth of Independent States), AMDS (Distribution Solutions), Tubular Products, Corporate Responsibility and remains as Chairman of the Investment Allocations Committee of the ArcelorMittal Group. Mr Urquijo also held several other positions within the ArcelorMittal Group, including Deputy Senior Executive Vice President and Head of the functional directorates of distribution. Gonzalo is a graduate in Economics and Political Science of Yale University and holds an MBA from the Instituto de Empresa in Madrid.
