TRADING STATEMENT                                                               
In accordance with paragraph 3.4 of the Listings Requirements of the JSE        
Limited, a listed company is required to publish a TRADING STATEMENT as         
soon as it becomes aware, with a reasonable degree of certainty, that the       
financial results for the next period to be reported on are likely to           
vary by more than 20% from the previous corresponding period.                   
Indequity is currently finalising its results for the six months ended 31       
March 2011. In this regard, shareholders are advised that the headline          
earnings per share and the earnings per share of Indequity for the six          
months ended 31 March 2011 are both expected to be approximately 14.77          
cents per share, in comparison to the headline earnings per share and           
earnings per share of 1.43 cents of the previous corresponding period           
being the six months ended 31 March 2010. The headline earnings per share       
and earnings per share for the year ended 30 September 2010 was 18.10           
cents.                                                                          
The financial information on which this trading statement is based has          
not been reviewed or reported on by the group`s auditors.                       
The results for the six months ended 31 March 2011 are expected to be           
released on Friday the 13th of May 2011.
