OCE - Oceana Group Limited - Trading Statement Oceana Group Limited (Registration number: 1939/001730/06) JSE Share Code: OCE NSX Share Code: OCG ISIN: ZAE000025284 ("Oceana" or "the Company") TRADING STATEMENT In accordance with paragraph 3.4(b) of the Listings Requirements of the JSE Limited, shareholders are advised that headline earnings per share for the six months ended 31 March 2011 are expected to be between 7% and 12% higher than the comparative figure for the six months ended 31 March 2010. Earnings per share for the six months ended 31 March 2011 are expected to be between 27% and 32% higher than the comparative figure for the six months ended 31 March 2010. The main reason for the differential in the increase in headline earnings per share and earnings per share is that, in the prior year, earnings were impacted by an impairment expense relating to goodwill arising on acquisition of the Glenryck UK business in 2004 which was adjusted for purposes of headline earnings. The financial information on which this trading statement is based has not been reviewed or reported on by the Company`s auditors. The Company expects its results for the six months ended 31 March 2011 to be released on SENS on or about 11 May 2011.
