CSB - Cashbuild Limited - Trading Update CASHBUILD LIMITED (Registration number: 1986/001503/06) (Incorporated in the Republic of South Africa) JSE share code: CSB & ISIN: ZAE000028320 ("Cashbuild" or "the company") TRADING UPDATE In terms of the JSE Limited Listings Requirements, companies are required to publish a trading statement as soon as they are reasonably certain that the financial results for the current reporting period will be more than 20% different than that of the prior corresponding period. In light of the above, Cashbuild expects to announce that statutory headline earnings per share and earnings per share for the half year ended 31 December 2010 are expected to be 20% to 25% lower than those of the prior half year. However when excluding the once-off effect of the BEE repurchase of shares and subsequent distribution to Trust beneficiaries, adjusted headline earnings per share and adjusted earnings per share for the half year ended 31 December 2010 are expected to be 40% to 50% higher than those of the prior half year.
