MML - Metmar Limited - Trading statement METMAR LIMITED Incorporated in the Republic of South Africa (Registration number 1998/007269/06) Share code: MML ISIN code: ZAE000078747 ("Metmar" or "the Company") TRADING STATEMENT In terms of the JSE Limited Listings Requirements, companies are required to publish a trading statement as soon as they are reasonably certain that the financial results for the current reporting period will differ by more than 20% from those of the previous corresponding period. Headline earnings per share for the year ended 28 February 2011 are expected to increase by between 56% - 76% over those of the previous corresponding period. Shareholders are advised that the Company`s attributable earnings per share for the year ended 28 February 2011 are expected to decrease by between 60% - 80% over those of the previous corresponding period. The main contributor to the difference in the percentage decrease in attributable earnings per share is the profit from sale of PGR 17 Investments (Proprietary) Limited amounting to R126 million after taxation, which was included in attributable earnings in the previous corresponding period. The financial information on which this trading statement is based has not been reviewed or reported on by the Company`s auditors. Shareholders are advised that the results for the year ended 28 February 2011 will be released no later than 6 May 2011.
