CLAYVILLE ACQUISITION AGREEMENT LAPSED                                          
Shareholders are referred to the announcements released on SENS on 9 and 10     
December 2010, where it was announced that a wholly owned subsidiary of RBA has 
entered into an agreement with Clayville Garden City Housing Company            
(Proprietary) Limited for the acquisition of nine properties in Clayville       
Extension 28 Township for an amount of R14.5 million excluding VAT ("the        
acquisition").                                                                  
The agreement was subject to various conditions precedent which had to be       
fulfilled by 28 February 2011.                                                  
Shareholders are hereby notified that the conditions were not fulfilled         
timeously, and that the agreement lapsed.
