This follows a detailed assessment and planning analysis of water management and treatment procedures that will enable the Firestone/Sekoko Joint Venture to use and manage water in mining operations in a manner consistent with the requirements of South African regulatory authorities. The submission of the IWULA application highlights the Joint Venture`s ability to develop solutions which comply with applicable legislation in South Africa as well as its commitment to commence mining operations that are sustainable, both from a legislative and environmental point of view.
