Notification of Directors` and PDMRs` share dealings pursuant to DTR 3.1.4 R    
Lonmin Plc (the "Company") received notification on 1 March 2011 from the       
Trustee of the Lonmin Employee Benefit Trust that 40 shares in the Company were 
sold by Mr Barnard Mokwena as detailed below.

Mr Mokwena elected to sell these shares in order to realise sufficient cash     
proceeds to settle his income tax liability on the part vesting of his Deferred 
Annual Bonus Plan matched award, which vested on 8 December 2010 and which was  
previously notified to the market on 10 December 2010.                          
The Company was also notified of the same information on the same date by Mr    
Mokwena in discharge of his obligations under DTR 3.1.2 R.
